The American Rebel Light NHRA 4-Wide Nationals promises a weekend of nitro-fueled excitement at zMAX Dragway, April 25-27. Four world-class drag racers will emerge victorious, but they won’t be the only winners of the weekend. Through a variety of fun and impactful initiatives, Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) will give fans the chance to support local nonprofits and area children, all while entering to win big themselves.

Here are three ways to make a difference at the upcoming 4-Wide Nationals:

50/50 RAFFLE: Children and one lucky fan will hit the jackpot with the Speedway Children’s Charities 50/50 Raffle. Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 25, at the start of the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals and remain on sale through Sunday, May 25 at the conclusion of the Coca-Cola 600 race weekend. Half of all ticket sales from the combined raffles will support Charlotte-area children through SCC. The other half will go to ONE lucky winner!

Ticket purchase options are as follows:

  • 1 ticket for $10
  • 10 tickets for $20
  • 100 tickets for $40
  • BONUS BUY: 400 tickets for $100

Raffle tickets can be purchased in person at both the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals and the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 weekend (May 23-25). Fans can also purchase tickets online if they are in the state of North Carolina from April 25 to May 25. The winning ticket will be drawn the following Monday after the Coca-Cola 600, May 26. The winner must collect the jackpot within 30 days of when the ticket was drawn.

GOLF CART DONATION: SCC volunteers will offer free golf cart rides throughout the NHRA weekend. While tipping is optional, every cent given will be donated to help children in need across greater Charlotte.

RED BUCKET BRIGADE: Fans can keep an eye out for red buckets stationed at zMAX Dragway information booths. Every donation will directly benefit Speedway Children’s Charities.

The Charlotte chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities is one of 11 located at Speedway Motorsports facilities across the country. Since inception in 1982, Speedway Children’s Charities has awarded more than $72 million to nonprofit organizations throughout the nation.
