The Nov. 7-9 Can-Am World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte will crown champions in dirt racing's three premier series, but one lucky fan could walk away as the weekend's biggest winner, thanks to Speedway Children's Charities.
Offering one of the largest 50/50 raffles in the history of motorsports, Speedway Children's Charities will sell $5 raffle tickets with the maximum prize totaling a remarkable $125,000.
The race-weekend festivities begin on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with PRN's At The Track World Finals Kick-Off Party at The Pavilion at zMAX Dragway, featuring World of Outlaws driver appearances, live music and the first opportunity for fans to buy their 50/50 raffle tickets.
Speedway Children's Charities volunteers will also sell tickets on the grounds of The Dirt Track at Charlotte throughout race weekend. Raffle ticket sales will end on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. or until sold out.
Drawing for the 50/50 raffle prize will take place immediately following the Super DIRTcar Big-Block Modified feature and will be announced via the track public-address system and on Speedway Children's Charities' and Charlotte Motor Speedway's social media platforms. The winner does not have to be present to win, but will have nine days to claim the prize.
"The Can-Am World Finals gives Speedway Children's Charities the perfect platform to give race fans a chance to win up to $125,000," said Lisa Starnes, the director of Speedway Children's Charities Charlotte chapter. "Sales from our unprecedented 50/50 raffle offer will go directly toward aiding local children in need. We're excited to offer this raffle and thrilled to see race fans aiding in our mission of improving the lives of kids in our community."
