It’s Thanksgiving week at Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health, so once the turkey is stuffed and the pumpkin pie is gone, holiday revelers are invited out to experience the magic of Speedway Christmas through a mesmerizing four-mile light show featuring over 5 million twinkling lights and endless holiday cheer.

This week’s must-see highlights include:

THE MOVIES:

Cozy up Thursday through Sunday for Queen City News Movie Nights featuring The Grinch (2018). Take a stop in the infield, grab a hot cocoa and tune into 105.1 FM to watch Whoville come to life on the 80-foot-tall SpeedwayTV. The first running of the show begins at 6:30 p.m. with a second screening immediately following.

THE VENDORS:

Skip the Black Friday crowds and shop local in the infield Christmas Village. This week’s lineup includes eight unique vendors offering perfect holiday gifts from handmade crafts to gourmet chocolate. Don’t miss Pawsitively Inspired’s handcrafted candles and pet “pawfume,” with proceeds going to support local animal rescue groups. Or stop by KRG Jewels for custom jewelry, t-shirts, acrylic lamps and more – all personalized on-site for a specialized holiday touch.
