Tuesday’s Cook Out Summer Shootout racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway has been postponed due to inclement weather. The eighth of 10 rounds of grassroots racing will resume on Tuesday, July 23 as part of a Tuesday double-header. Pit gates will open at 10 a.m. with Round 8 action to kick off at noon, as a full slate of Legend Car and Bandolero drivers close in on a pivotal season-ending championship. 

While grandstands will not be open for Round 8 of racing, previously purchased Round 8 tickets will be honored at the gate for Round 9. 

Spectator gates for Round 9 will open at 5 p.m. During Round 9, fans will be treated to a bevy of games, activities and interactive fun as part of Summer Games Night presented by Trackhouse Motorplex at Cook Out Summer Shootout.

There is no change to Monday’s practice schedule.
