It’s Christmas week, and Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health is the place to be for holiday fun. From twinkling lights to festive attractions, don’t miss out on all the unforgettable memories this season has to offer.
THE MOVIE:
Get cozy for the last edition of Queen City News Movie Night and catch Home Alone presented by: Bojangles Dec. 26-29 on the infield Speedway TV. Park your car, grab some snacks from the Christmas Village and get comfy as Kevin McCallister outsmarts the “Wet Bandits” in this holiday classic.
THE VENDORS:
Need a last-minute gift? Swing by the Christmas Village for some “illegally good” fudge and chocolate creations at Chocolate Moonshine, then, explore through Unique Touches for custom wooden decor and accessories. Put those finishing touches on your Christmas shopping Dec. 23 and Dec. 26-29 before Santa’s Workshop closes for the season.
REMEMBER THE MAGIC:
Get in your last-minute visits with Father Christmas before he sets off on his journey around the world. Santa will be available one last time on Dec. 23, before Speedway Christmas closes Christmas Eve (Dec. 24) for Santa’s big night. Speedway Christmas will reopen at normal hours on Christmas Day with the dazzling four-mile light show and will be open nightly through Jan. 5.
WHAT’S NEW:
Open Dec. 23 and Dec. 26-29, have one last holiday hurrah down the four exhilarating slopes of the Cook Out Tubing Hill, located in the Fan Zone. Admission for unlimited rides is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. Speedway Christmas tickets are not required to enjoy the tubing hill.
TICKETS:
The 15th annual Speedway Christmas presented by Atrium Health will be open nightly from Nov. 22 to Jan. 5, with the exception of Christmas Eve. Tickets are sold per vehicle, starting at $35 Monday through Wednesday and $45 Thursday through Sunday nights. Get $5 off your ticket all season long by presenting a Coca-Cola product at the gate.
