Hurricane Relief Drive Extended to Thursday, Oct. 3

After a tremendous response to Wednesday's Hurricane Relief Drive at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the drive will be extended into Thursday, Oct. 3. Volunteers from NASCAR and area race teams will join speedway volunteers to collect items of need Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. All items will be transported to North Wilkesboro Speedway where local agencies will disperse to those in need.
Items Requested:
- Bottled Water
- Canned/ Non-Perishable Food
- Adult and Baby Diapers / Wipes
- Chewable Benadryl Tablets
- Work Gloves
- Tarps
Wednesday's donations will be packed and ready to leave Charlotte Motor Speedway, Thursday at 10:30 a.m. The trailers are set to arrive at North Wilkseboro Speedway (381 Speedway Ln, North Wilkseboro, NC28659) shortly before noon, where volunteers will help distribute the items to those in need. In addition, North Wilkesboro Speedway will be accepting donations on site from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through Sunday, Oct. 6.
