Summer Fun with the STEAM Team!

Join the STEAM Team as they kick into gear with a day filled with fun and education! Kids will explore the world of "Science Magic", see chemical reactions turn into a work of art, and race the bots. The end of the day will be capped off with an exciting lap on the NASCAR track in our tour vans and a pit stop in Winner's Circle.

STEAM Special Events FAQ

What age is the program designed for?

1st-8th grade students

Does my child need a minor waiver?

All on-track and pit activities require a signed minor waiver. Download Waiver.

Where should I park?

Parking maps will be emailed to you prior to the event.

Is the program outdoors?

Most activities will be outdoors with limited indoor activity. Wearing comfortable shoes are recommended.

What is the chaperone policy?

We welcome parents to stay, however, parents can drop off their student.

What are lunch options?

You may bring a bag lunch or order a pizza lunch when you register.

Will there be any souvenirs to purchase?

You may visit the gift shop at the end of the program for souvenirs. The gift shop is located in the main building of Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Can I bring younger siblings?

Yes, you may bring younger siblings. However, the activities will only be for the registered student.
