Four weeks ago, Joey Logano was coming off a 33rd-place finish in the YellaWood 500 and — in ninth-place in the NASCAR Cup Series standings — 25 points below the top-8 cut line.
At +2500, he had the ninth-shortest odds to win the championship, far behind the favorite, Kyle Larson (+375). And with the seventh-largest handle share, Logano wasn’t a popular pick with BetMGM bettors.
After three top-10 finishes in four races, including a win in the South Point 400, Logano is now +325 to become the 10th driver with three career championships. The surge, however, hasn’t attracted much betting interest. His handle share of 5.5% ranks eighth among all drivers and last among the remaining playoff drivers.
- Ryan Blaney (+175): 21.3%
- William Byron (+250): 7.1%
- Tyler Reddick (+375): 6.8%
- Joey Logano (+300): 5.5%
Logano’s ticket share of 6.9% is fifth among all drivers and third among playoff drivers. Byron leads with 7.5%, followed by Blaney (7.4%) and Reddick (5.3%).
In race-winner odds for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race, Logano is third among playoff drivers:
- Ryan Blaney: +300
- William Byron: +450
- Christopher Bell: +450
- Joey Logano: +600
- Tyler Reddick: +725
