Help Us Help Western North Carolina!
For the past several weeks, Charlotte Motor Speedway has been collecting items of need for Hurricane Helene victims in Western North Carolina and transporting donations to mountain regions hardest hit by the storm. We’d like to continue this effort around the World of Outlaws World Finals and we need your help! The following list includes the MOST-needed items:
- Liquid Dish Soap
- Liquid Laundry Detergent
- NEW Blankets/Sleeping Bags
- NEW Kids' Winter Clothes
- Paper Towels/Toilet Paper
Please bring ONLY items from this list and drop them in the designated collection boxes at the Camping World Racing Resort office, Turn 4 camping office or at the main entry gate at The Dirt Track from Wednesday, Nov. 6 through Saturday, Nov. 9.
Distribution centers in the North Carolina mountains are NOT accepting used clothes, bottled water or diapers until current supplies are depleted. Therefore, we will NOT be accepting those items during the World Finals hurricane relief drive.
Please bring ONLY the most needed items listed above.
If you’d prefer to make a monetary donation, please consider giving online to Samaritan’s Purse, a disaster relief organization based in Boone, North Carolina, at www.SamaritansPurse.org.
Your generosity with donations of requested items will help thousands of people directly affected by the hurricane, and we are proud to partner with you, our race fans, to make a positive impact and deliver hope to those in need!
