Four world-class drag racers will be crowned victorious at next weekend’s NHRA 4-Wide Nationals at zMAX Dragway, but they won’t be the only winners. Through a variety of initiatives, Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) will raise money to support nonprofits and children in the community, and fans will have the opportunity to give big and win big.

Here are four ways to make a difference at the upcoming 4-Wide Nationals:

50/50 RAFFLE: Children and one lucky fan will hit the jackpot with the Speedway Children’s Charities 50/50 Raffle presented by Carpet South Design. Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 26 at the beginning of the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals and remain on sale until Sunday, May 26 at the conclusion of the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600. Half of the total ticket sales from the combined raffle will support Charlotte area children through SCC. The other half will go to ONE lucky winner!

Ticket purchase options are as follows:

  • 1 ticket for $10
  • 10 tickets for $20
  • 100 tickets for $40
  • BONUS BUY: 400 tickets for $100

Raffle tickets can be purchased in-person at both the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals and the Coca-Cola 600 or online from April 26-May 26. The winning ticket will be drawn during Stage 3 of the Coca-Cola 600. The winner does not have to be present to take home the jackpot.

ONLINE AUCTION: Experience the excitement of the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals like never before by participating in the SCC online auction. Fans can bid on once-in-a-lifetime experiences and exclusive collectibles all while supporting a worthy cause. Auction items include: a blower belt signed by Tony Stewart, Leah Pruett and Matt Hagan of Tony Stewart Racing; an Antron Brown hospitality package for two featuring a meet and greet, trailer tour and pit side passes; and so much more.

The auction runs through Thursday, April 25. Visit sccauctions.com for more information or to place a bid.

GOLF CART DONATION: SCC volunteers will offer free golf cart rides throughout the NHRA weekend. Tipping is optional, but every cent given will be donated to help children in need across greater Charlotte.

RED BUCKET BRIGADE: Fans in attendance can keep an eye out for red buckets stationed at zMAX Dragway information booths. All donations will directly benefit Speedway Children’s Charities.

The Charlotte chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities is one of eight located at Speedway Motorsports facilities across the country. Since inception in 1982, Speedway Children’s Charities has awarded more than $61 million to nonprofit organizations throughout the nation.
